This is our last regular session before the summer break, and we have decided to go out with a bang! If you missed out on attending Microsoft Build 2015 this year, have no fear! Lori Lalonde is an Apress author, consultant, blogger, international conference speaker, Xamarin Certified Developer and Microsoft MVP. She began her career in software in 1997 and hasn't looked back since. Her experience spans numerous industries and a variety of technologies, with the past decade focused on the Microsoft .NET platform. Lori is actively involved in the local community, serves as the President of Canada's Technology Triangle .NET User Group, and participates in local Women in Technology groups. Whether mentoring junior colleagues or writing about her experiences in the IT industry on her blog, she is always happy to share her knowledge with the greater community.

Tom Walker is a Microsoft MVP Windows Platform Developer with over 10+ years of experience in the .NET stack. In those 10+ years he has worked in the auto, medical and fitness industries. He specializes in building software that enhances people’s lives in their day-to-day activities be it work or play. His current goal is to combining his passion for art and development into beautiful useful apps. Beyond that you can find him tinkering away on open data and open source projects using Azure, ASP.NET, and Xamarin with a lot of C# magic to glue it all together.
