Virtual Tech Lunch Meetup

Details

We are living in interesting times... lots of our regular venues are closed, lots of our regular attendees are working from home or remotely for a while, and with many of our favourite conferences and events switching to a virtual format for the next few months, we're running some virtual online sessions to help all of us - speakers, attendees and organisers - get to grips with virtual events.

Obviously for an online event the "London" bit of the London .NET User Group doesn't really matter, and we're also not worrying too much about the ".NET" part right now - so we're inviting some of our favourite speakers to share 10-minute lightning talks with you, through various online platforms, and figure out how it all works.

Our first one will be Tuesday 17th March, from 13:00 to 14:00 UK time.

We've got Stephen Haunts joining us to talk about password storage, and Guy Royse talking about Bloom filters - with two more speakers TBC.

HOW TO JOIN:

We'll be using Zoom as our platform for this virtual meetup, so please download the Zoom client and make sure you're somewhere quiet with good internet. Use a headset microphone or earphones, be prepared to switch on your camera, and use one connection per person - groups of people sharing a microphone/webcam doesn't work very well!

See you all online tomorrow!
