This is a weekly group for anyone with a pinhole camera or an interest in pinhole photography novices and experts all welcome. Bring along your pinhole camera and any pinhole photographs you have taken and lets encourage each other, share knowledge & experience and make friends over this amazing technique.
We meet either on Saturday or Sunday at different times but always in photogenic locations in order to inspire experimentation.
Meet at the entrance of the North Portico of the Great Court at the British Museum:
Meeting point: Enter the museum via Montague Place and walk through until you come to the Great Court.
The British Museum
Great Russell St
London WC1B 3DG
I chose this location as there is lots of natural light and it is impervious to bad weather.
General format of the morning is we spend some time at the meeting point sharing experience and knowledge and picking out good visual angles for potential shots.
Then we can explore taking photos in and around the Great Court. If folks want to disperse and do their own thing that's cool. We can re-group later when there will be time to share experience & knowledge after over a coffee. Feel free to bring any pinhole photos you've previously taken if you wish to discuss.
To identify me, I will be wearing a red beret and I will have an Ilford badge somewhere on my coat/bag.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
