The Stranded, 430 Strand, WC2R 0JR - https://www.thestrandedldn.com - is a new pub for the group, having only opened last summer. It's only 100 yards or so from Charing Cross station - you'll find it on the opposite side of the road walking eastwards along the Strand, away from Trafalgar Square. It specialises in Czech lagers, principally Budvar's, dispensed using side-pour taps rarely found in the UK. However, it's also unusual in offering a range of Timothy Taylor's ales rather than just the ubiquitous Landlord.

The plan is to move on to The Lemon Tree, 4 Bedfordbury, WC2N 4BP - https://www.lemontreecoventgarden.com - at about 8.45 and then The Marquis, 51-52 Chandos Place, WC2N 4HS - https://www.themarquiscoventgarden.co.uk - at around 10.00. The Lemon Tree is a quieter pub better suited to conversation, whereas The Marquis is best known for music, it's USP being classic tracks on vinyl. I expect most people will choose whichever one suits them best or flit between the two.
