Hey members.

I'm sure by now you have heard the news coming from Boris Johnson regarding the Corona Virus pandemic. He has expressed that unnecessary social gatherings have been advised against. With this news we unfortunately have to postpone our User group meeting.

The advice not only has come from the UK Government but from SOLIDWORKS corporate offices this morning. But there is some good news. This will be the perfect opportunity to role out a new format for our meetings. On top of our physical meeting we want to introduce Digital meeting too. This will give us more opportunity to bring more guest speakers from around the world, and it means you can attend from anywhere in the world on any device.

These meeting will be held on GoToMeetings. This allows the presenters to share their screens and you can tune in from a desktop computer, a tablet or phone. Even if you don't have internet access you can dial in from a phone. you just wont see the shared screen.

So the SWUGN committee will be meeting on Friday to discuss the roll out of this and you will be informed when this first digital meeting on Europe will happen.
