Many thanks to those of you who attended our inaugural social event in September, a joint social event with traders from other meetup group(s).
As co-organisers it was exceptionally rewarding to be part of such a large & diverse crowd and to be able to participate in the wide ranging discussions about technologies, trading strategies, experiences with different brokers and indeed many other relevant topics.
Building on this inaugural social event we have invited a leading figure from the quantitative trading community to attend our next social event. This world renowned author, fund manager and quant. developer will be providing some of his time for an informal open Q&A.
As always this will be a great opportunity to exchange ideas & know-how and the presence our special guest will certainly add great value to this event.
Due to his busy global schedule his attendance has not yet been fully confirmed. Either way, this informal end-of-week social event will certainly provide the right framework to encourage more interaction amongst our members.
Please do confirm your attendance so that we can keep you fully up to date and also manage things accordingly.
Looking forward to another great event!
Dan & Jeremy
