LUUG 8 - We need to talk about Unity

Details
Happy New Year from London Unity Usergroup!
Same place-ish, we're in lecture room B next door. But, same time on Wednesday 25th January.
As usual, we'll be heading down to the Ship after for a beer and socialness.
Unity 3D ‘Flash In A Flash’ Showcase.
To celebrate the launch of the Unity 3.5 developer preview, and the ‘Flash in a Flash’ competition, we want to hear from YOU!
If you entered the competition, or if you’re working on a project intended to utilize the upcoming Flash support, then we’d like to give you a platform to air your thoughts, offer advise to working with Flash and Unity, or just show off cool projects that you are working on.
We currently have 3 people that have signed up to showing their work on the night, but we would like to see projects from users of all abilities.
So, we look forward to hearing from you, and in the mean time, you should look forward to hearing more about the ‘Flash in a Flash’ entries from Mike Renwick, Cat Burton (http://www.catburton.co.uk/FindHeidi/), and Quick Fingers (http://www.quickfingers.net/covert)
The making of Team Hot Wheels 3D Experience
Jasper Stocker
Last year, Jasper teamed up with the great people at The Marketing Store to create a web based game and cereal box tie in for Hot Wheels. Using 3D (Anaglyphic) glasses, an AR marker to steer, the Unity 3D engine and a kitchen sink, they built an amazing experience played over the entire world (though, not released in English! :o/ )In the talk, Jasper will discuss how the game was built, the many lessons learnt and how much fun it was making it in Unity.
Play the game!
(no English, but just select Spanish or something)
Bio
Jasper is a freelance game developer specialising in Unity. His background goes back to Flash and Actionscript 1 days, but since he took the plunge into Unity, has hasn’t really looked back. The observant ones among you might have noticed he setup this very user group with living legend Russ Morris last year and is very happy to see how many people turn up every month.
