What we're about

We are probably the longest established vegan social group in London.

We have online monthly meetings online on the last Wednesday of each month (apart from December!) - all welcome, whether or not you're in London.
We also arrange in-person social events including restaurant trips and walks.

This group will also promote other London based vegan-friendly events.

All welcome, whether vegan or not, but we ask that at in-person events you only consume vegan food.

ONLINE MEETING: Animal Advocacy in the Digital Realm

Link visible for attendees

We are pleased to have as our guest speaker this evening John Oberg, who is a social media influencer and animal advocate. In this presentation, John will talk about how to effectively harness the power of social media for the benefit of veganism and animal advocacy, including how to get many more views of the important animal-related content that you want the world to see.

In late 2018 John launched his own independent, patron-funded program for animals through Patreon*. Previously he has served as Director of New Media for The Humane League and as Director of Communications for Vegan Outreach.
John has recently created full online courses for advocates focusing on Twitter and Instagram advocacy.

TIME
Please connect from 6.50pm for a 7pm start.
We aim to finish the formal meeting by 8pm, with the option to stay online afterwards for an informal chat.

Best regards.

Brian

ONLINE MEETING: An Interview With Ronnie Lee, Founder Of The ALF

Link visible for attendees

For tonight's meeting I will be interviewing Ronnie Lee.
Ronnie is probably best known for being one of the founders of the Animal Liberation Front and for having spent about 9 years in prison for ALF activities.
In more recent years he has turned his attention to vegan outreach and frequently speaks of the importance of vegan education, and of local vegan activist groups, for the achievement of animal liberation.
This will also be an opportunity for you to ask Ronnie questions.

TIME
Please connect from 6.50pm for a 7pm start.
We aim to finish the formal meeting by 8pm, with the option to stay online afterwards for an informal chat.

Best regards.
