London Vue.js #7 - December 6th at WeWork Paddington
Details
Hey Vuers,
London Vue.js #7 will be on December 6th at WeWork Paddington. 7pm for a 7:30 start.
Speakers:
Edd Yerburgh, @EddYerburgh (https://twitter.com/EddYerburgh), Vue core team member and author of the official Vue test library vue-test-utils (https://github.com/vuejs/vue-test-utils), will be speaking to us again about testing. This time specifically about how to use vue-test-utils to test Single File Components. Edd went down really well last time and I'm glad he's coming back to tell us more.
Adam Davis, (http://admataz.com/), JavaScript developer and organiser of the London Node User Group
Escaping the Mountain of Defects with Vue.js: In a short tragi-comedy in three parts Adam recounts the story of a rebel band of Front End Developers and their use of Vue.js in an attempt to rescue the development of a High Street retailer's new ecommerce site from spaghetti ruin and endless spiral of defects.
Shai Schechter (https://twitter.com/shaisc), co-founder of new (Vue.js using!) startup RightMessage
RightMessage (https://rightmessage.com/) is a sales personalisation platform that has become wildly popular even before its big upcoming public launch in January. Shai is sure to have some very insightful stories to tell.
Also:
We are giving away one free ticket for the Vue.js Amsterdam conference worth £175!
The conference has a world-class lineup - there’s loads of great speakers including Evan You himself, the awesome Sarah Drasner and our own Edd Yerburgh! The date is the 16th February 2018. It’ll be a free draw on the night, so you’ll have to be at London Vue.js #7 this Wednesday 6th December to enter.
Here’s a link to the conference website:
