The shortage of women in the cyber security field points to our Rosie Riveter moment. We are at digital war, there are simply not enough men to fill the gaps and this new digital age requires diversity as weapons fly by at the speed of light over the internet. Come on a journey with Chris as she walks you through her start in STEM via an unusual path. Puerto Rican single mother who taught he the joys of computers. Beauty queen, military aviator and hacker. Proving we can start anywhere on the cyber security expedition as long as we get there and fill the gender, race and other disparities in the field. From big hair, uniforms and cyberwar in Saudi Arabia. A focus on determination, realising what you want to do in life is more important than what others think you should do and finding confidence in yourself to push forward over perceived obstacles. Learn from a leader and discover the joy of finding yourself in cyber security.
