## WordPress, the Community and Your Mental Health

Let’s have an honest discussion about the challenges of running your WordPress business. Building your own business, no matter what size, can be one of the most rewarding, satisfying and freeing experiences you’ve ever encountered. It can also be one of the most terrifying, isolating and lonely roads to take.

Dan will talk candidly about some of his experiences and giving you some insight into his decision to launch the charity: WP&UP.

Presented by Dan Maby. Dan is a director at Blue 37 – a WordPress specialist agency. He’s also the Founder & Trustee of WP&UP – a charity that supports & promotes positive mental health within the WordPress community. Follow him @danmaby(https://twitter.com/danmaby)

## AMP at the speed of live

For years, the Liveblog plugin has been the go-to solution for WordPress sites looking for a live coverage tool to deliver fast updates to visitors. In this talk we'll learn how and why Liveblog was enhanced with the added support of the Accelerated Mobile Pages technology to deliver live coverage even faster via WordPress.

Presented by Philip John. Phil is a long-time WordPress developer, having worked as a freelancer, for agencies, local government and most recently WordPress.com VIP where he supports some of the most high-profile, high-traffic sites on the web. He has been a caretaker of the Liveblog plugin and has lead several releases building out impressive new features and functionality. Follow him @philipjohn (https://twitter.com/philipjohn)
