WordPress London Meetup - April 2019

Details
This month at WordPress London JJ will be talking about learning from mistakes and how to avoid them and Michael Burridge will be showing us how to set up WordPress to respond to GraphQL queries.
## Mistakes were made
Making mistakes is a core competency of mine. This talk is a selection of my favourites from the past year and you will leave with the knowledge necessary to avoid them. Maybe. At least it should make you feel a bit better if you’ve had a bad week at work.
Presented by JJ. JJ is a freelance web developer who spent many of her pre-technology years as a chemistry student doing research in topics she learned as she went along. Follow her @tharsheblows (https://twitter.com/tharsheblows)
## WordPress and GraphQL
What GraphQL is. Setting up WordPress to respond to GraphQL queries. Making client-side GraphQL requests.
Presented by Michael Burridge. Michael is a freelance web developer from Bristol. He is passionate about WordPress and the community surrounding it, and is the author of FAQ Concertina in the WP Plugin repository.
Michael was the lead organiser for the first WordCamp Bristol held in 2017. He was also lead organiser for the very first do_action day to occur in Europe, held in Bristol in Feb 2018.
He was a team lead on the organising team for WCEU 2018 held in Belgrade, and is again for WCEU 2019 to be held in Berlin. Follow him @michaelburridge (https://twitter.com/michaelburridge)
