✍️ - The UX of forms: How to build forms and surveys that people will love to fill
It's so easy to just shove a contact form on our websites with the questions we want our leads to fill. And then we're often disappointed when no leads come through. Or maybe we've customised a Typeform template with a customer satisfaction survey – only to get no responses back. There's a better way! Applying basic principles of UX, this talk will show you how to create surveys and forms that people will love to fill. A practical example will accompany the presentation: I'll update an existing form of mine following my own advice.
🗣 - Presented by Piccia Neri. After 20 years in London Piccia Neri currently runs her own global UX & design consultancy agency from Spain. She is a Maverick at Cloudways, for whom she also leads UX projects. Piccia educates agencies, developers, techies and marketers on UX and design, via live and online workshops and courses. She speaks at conferences in 3 languages. Follow her @ Piccia (https://twitter.com/Piccia)

✍️ - Building a React front-end for headless/decoupled WordPress
Frontity is a new framework that enables developers to build lightning-fast themes for headless (or decoupled) WordPress using React. Whereas traditionally a WordPress theme is created with PHP template files a Frontity theme is instead created with React components.
A short introduction to Frontity will be followed by a live demo where we see how quick and easy it is to get up and running with Frontity and to start customising the theme to our requirements.
Frontity can be compared with Gatsby, however unlike Gatsby it is 100% focused on WordPress and provides much of the scaffolding need for working with headless WordPress thereby making for a much more pleasant developer experience and rapid time to project conclusion.
🗣 - Presented by Michael Burridge. Michael is an experienced web-developer active in the WordPress community. He was the lead organiser for the first WordCamp Bristol in 2017 and also co-organised the very first do_action day (WordPress Hackathon) to happen in Europe.
He has been a member of the WordCamp Europe organising team in 2018, 2019, and 2020. After many years as a freelance web developer Michael has recently joined the developer relations team at Frontity. Follow him @michaelburridge (https://twitter.com/michaelburridge)
