Social Media for Startups by Brandwatch CEO Giles Palmer. Eventbrite booking!

  • Nov 27, 2013 · 6:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Giles Palmer, founder and CEO of Brandwatch

Social Media was never more important, especially when it comes to customer acquisition. That is why we invited Giles Palmer, the founder and CEO of Brandwatch to speak to us at our November event.

Giles has an extremely interesting startup success story. He knows the social media world better than anyone and is ready to share with us valuable tips he learned along the way. Yet his story is even more interesting. His business needed three significant pivots until it became one of the global leaders for social media monitoring and analytics. It now serves over 700 brands and businesses in 25 languages.

Companies and organisations can glean insights around their brand interests, conduct market research, predict market trends, and more actively engage influencers, customers and prospects. A global company, Brandwatch is headquartered in Brighton, UK and has offices in the United States and Germany.

Hi guys. Just a quick not that tonight's event is sold out and we can only let those in, who booked their ticket on eventbrite. For those who were late, we still have a few early bird tickets for our December event with Bernhard Niesner. His company has over 35 million users. He knows a thing or two about how to get users. Come and learn - get your ticket here:

Just came across this event, would love to join.. Such a shame it's fully booked now. If someone may change their RSVP, could you let me know please so I'd possibly take your spot. Thank you.

I'm still a bit confused though as eventbrite is sold out but RSVPs are still accepted here?

Hi Elena. I am truly sorry, but Google Campus is strict about event capacity. Our events always sell out, so the best thing is to book early. The good news is that the event will be recorded, so you will be able to watch it online. And even better news is that we still have some tickets left for our December event: http://www.eventbrite...

Looks of great value for entrepreneurs. We also have 190 entrepreneurs registered to attend the business network meeting @ London Gherkin Tuesday 26th:

This meeting will help some of our business owner members. Thank you

Guys, we have a VERY limited capacity of only 75 seats (less than half from last event). So anybody without an eventbrite ticket simply won't make it - sorry! We will be at Google Campus on the 3rd floor and they are very strict about only letting people in, who are on the list! Please make sure you have an eventbrite ticket. Btw, here are photos from our most recent event:

Good to hear from you, Antonio. Hope you're doing well. We only announced the speaker & published the eventbrite link 2 days ago. There was a reason why I suggested to all members to follow us on Twitter (@StartupGrindLD) - we announced it there. Those who ordered fast enough, got FREE tickets. Btw, we still have a few Early Bird tickets left: http://www.eventbrite...

Sounds like a topic near and dear to me as I have a startup in dire need of customers. I'm also new to the group. Looking forward to it!

Same here Nyron. Just out of curiosity - What is the problem your startup is trying to solve .. does it sells a product or provides services?

      1 · October 30, 2013

    • Nyron G.

We sell services. We are a startup peer to peer lender focused on businesses. You can check us out on http://www.thepaperst...
