Scandinavian Monthly Tuesday Meetup (Nordic Bar)

This is our regular meetup that's been happening for many years now and as it's the most informal it's the best meet up to come along to if you're new.

This meetup starts at 7pm though there's usually a large group of us that come at about 7:10pm having walked from Scandinavian Kitchen.

The area we have booked changes each week, but look for the tables with a reservation for "Language Meetup Group" (or sometimes "James") on them and you should be right. The bartenders should be able to point you in the right direction if you can't find us.

There's no structure to the MeetUp and it's no problem if you arrive late. Just find us, pull up and a chair and introduce yourself. If you're looking for something in particular, someone with the same level of Swedish ability, someone who speaks English, someone with advice on travel to Sweden then feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to introduce you. The MeetUp finishes when the last person leaves which is usually around 10:30 to 11pm but does vary.

They've plenty of Koppaberg cider on offer and also some good Nordic food.

Each meetup has a mix of new and familiar faces; beginners, competent conversationalists & native speakers; as well as people who are just interested in the culture and meeting new people.

Everyone is welcome along with friends of any nationality.

Free entry and membership.
