So we have one week to go until the London Travel Massive Christmas drinks and as I mentioned in the previous e-mail, I have a brief update of what to expect from the night.

As with all Travel Massive events this will just be free networking for the evening. But as the events are growing we have started to get a bit of sponsorship in, this time we have linked up with Gadventures for the second time), Expedia, Travelllll, Travelzoo and Frommers.  Don’t worry though, we won’t be having loads of speeches or presentations. Gadventures and Expedia are putting a bit of money behind the bar for those that arrive early enough, Travellll have organised (along with Travelzoo and Frommers) a few prizes for a Christmas giveaway which will most likely be done in the form of a business card raffle, so don’t forget to bring cards if you have some.  Red carnation Hotels, who own and operate the Montague, have also put organised for there to be a glass of mulled wine for everyone when they turn up to get people in that Christmas mood.  We are also chatting with the company and hoping that they can do something for the Christmas raffle.

The venue for the event has also been featured in the Guardian, Times Travel and Sunday Mirror over the past week, all saying what a great place it is for Christmas.

I hope to see as many of you as possible next Tuesday, any time from 6.  It will be busy, with 35 already signed up on Meetup and a further 100 odd on Twtvite. So it’s a great chance to meet people, network, or just have a drink with people who share interests.

As always, please feel free to e-mail me ([address removed]), tweet me (@michaeleball) or follow #travelmassive for any updates.

See you in seven days.
