Language studies: IT guy´s approach to language studies
Due to laziness, Nikita Koselev often uses alternative ways to solve tasks and quite often these tricks work well for others too.
In this talk he'll discuss his approach to language studies and share useful tips for you to take away.
About the Speaker
Nikita Koselev is just an ordinary IT person working in the "back office", mostly working on further improvements of the existing systems.
Over the Wall: Tracking and Overcoming Software Development Obstacles
Software development is never without its challenges. As a team, Carly Richmond and her colleagues have encountered issues with the tracking and addressing of various impediments in the building of their software.
Visibility of blockers is paramount to the exposure and addressing of technical and non-technical hurdles. In this talk, Carly will regale their journey of impediment management through the adoption of an obstacle board. Specifically she'll share the lessons they have learned through their use and share whether they can help teams sprint.
About the Speaker
Carly Richmond is a senior software engineer at Morgan Stanley, specialising in Front-end Web Development. She regularly shares her passion for Agile, UI and technology on Twitter and Medium. When not focusing on tech she loves cooking, photography and is partial to a cup of tea or two.
