Philli & Mag - both female technologists, talk through Diversity And Inclusion on technical teams, what it means, the effects if we ignore it and what we can do now. We welcome a diverse audience to join in this vital discussion.

About the speakers:

Phillipa Rodney is an award winning Engineering Manager and Master of Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Philli is an advocate for women in STEM. She holds a position on the 2020 Makers Women in Software Power List, is a Women In Tech Excellence Awards 2020 finalist for in 2 categories: Tech Leader of the Year SME and Transformation Leader of the Year SME.

Mag Leahy’s technical career spans 20 years as coder and a leader. Following completion of Leaders Who Coach from Better Conversations Mag is committed to a stronger coaching style of leadership and she really feels coaching is a way to bring equity and listen deeply to an individual. Mag recently graduated from an Advanced Diploma in Personal Leadership and Executive Coaching and will be focusing on coaching for the foreseeable future.
