Functional Programming Fundamentals
Functional programming is becoming more popular but do you actually know what it is? This session will provide you with an introduction to some of the fundamentals of functional programming, what it is used for and how it differs from other programming styles.
Concurrency Concepts And How To Test Them
Designing with concurrency in mind can be difficult, and testing concurrency concepts can be harder. This is a brief walk through some concurrency tools Java provides, what you may need to write your own concurrent types, and how you can test them.
