Have you ever heard words like certificates, public, private keys, SSL\TLS, HTTPS? Do you want to understand what it is, how it works? Then this talk is for you.

No special knowledge is required to understand it. This session will show why you need a secure connection, how keys work, how certificates are generated and how secure connection is established. And at the end of the session we will see a practical example how HTTPS could be applied on Java.

About the speaker

Oleg Stadnichenko has 10+ years of experience in software development. His career path is tightly connected with the payment and transfer industry, in big banks and fintech companies. And therefore security is the crucial thing to be used in that industry.
