Please RSVP for notification (Back-up location) Red card rule (your teammates relys on your attendance). If you RSVP as "going" and you cannot make it, please take a MINUTE and change your RSVP status to "Not Going" in advance. Every time you have a "No show", you will get a yellow card. If you accumulate 3 yellow cards, you will be banned from our events for 3 months. Almost every week, we have people on the waiting list that would like to play, by adjusting your RSVP status, this will give someone else an opportunity to play. We need 7 vs 7 players to scrimmage in Long Beach. Please RSVP in advance to get location details. If you are going to bring a guest, please RSVP them. Please let us know in advance if you cannot make it so we can find someone to replace your spot (your teammates are relying on you to show up). Bring both a white and color shirt for team selection. Bring water to drink and a ball (if you have one). Game rules: No hands goalie (everyone stay at least 6 feet away from goal. Including corner kicks. A penalty kick is awarded for this violation). No offside rule. No slide tackles. Unlimited substitutions (No game stoppage), Two 27 minute halves (52 minutes total). ALL KICKS ARE INDIRECT KICKS. The only direct kicks allowed are corner kicks, goal kicks, and penalty kicks. We are using the rules from the City of Los Alamitos adult soccer league. This is a friendly scrimmage, so no "rough play" and respect other players and the field. Thanks to Glenn, Richard, Hassan and Romina for Hosting (please help them setup and tear down). We are trying to keep our event free/low cost and only asking for a $1/game donation (paid $5 minimum for easy accounting tracking) so we can starting paying for some permits, equipment/goals replacements (starting to wear down), website fee (we [administrator] have to pay meetup to keep this group on meetup). You will get priority registration privileges with advance donations. Any suggestions are welcome (including getting sponsors). You can donate in person or via Venmo user=@ypichor other (Zelle, paypal, etc.). Be sure to mention your name from meetup. Note that our group organizers are volunteers and are not paid to manage this group. If you are interested in hosting or organizing an event, please let us know. NOTE: The Organizer of this Activity is not a professional. By signing up, you are responsible for and assuming all the risks involved in your choosing to participate in this sport. Please play fair and respect team-mates.
