Long Beach Diagonal Toastmasters Club offers a friendly, fun, and non-threatening environment where members practice their speaking and leadership skills. Members learn to think on their feet and speak confidently in a wide range of situations. Members learn to develop prepared speeches and practice short 1-2 minute off the cuff speeches (table topics). Members are encouraged to participate but don't have to until they feel ready. Once you decide to join, members will receive access to an online learning guide called Pathways. Pathways offers ways to improve your communication and leadership skills.
