Let's Play Tennis

They have 12 courts. I can get one court for free with my alumni ID card. It usually costs $10.00 per court. The courts are about half way between Atherton and Anaheim off Palo Verde. From Palo Verde walk thru the parking lot to the tennis courts. I understand that parking permits are required to park at CSULB. There should be parking available on Palo Verde which is a short walk from the tennis courts.

Weeknight Tennis

Match play and rallying for those of us who like to play on the weeknights too! What do you all think? They charge $10.00 for each court unless you have a CSULB Alumnus Card or a student ID card. You will need to locate parking on or near Palo Verde Avenue as CSULB requires a parking pass to park anywhere on it's campus. There are yellow boxes/machines, for the taking of money & dispensing of a parking permit, within the parking structure. Parking costs $5; the machine takes $1 & $5, as well as, certain credit cards. One must park and then, purchase the pass. The pass is to be placed on top of the dashboard; it is good all day - until 12 midnight. So, on the day the pass is valid, one can come and go, as needed.

Billie Jean King Tennis Center

Welcome to BJK Thursday night tennis! The courts we use are usually 7-8 unless otherwise noted. Bring a fresh can of balls if you can. Please pay $7 by Wednesday night using Venmo (kevin-owsley 2), or bring cash if you like. If you have a last minute emergency, call or text Kevin @[masked] or email me: [masked]. NOTE: Since these are pay-to-play courts, please sign up only if you can for sure go. Otherwise, we get stiffed with the bill. Signing up and no-showing multiple times may get you removed from the group. Thanks!
