LISS @ Twisted Cow Distillery: Barrelhouse Boogie!
Twisted Cow Distillery, 13 Hewitt Square, East Northport, NY, USJoin us at our monthly social dance at the Twisted Cow Distillery in East Northport!
LISS is partnering with the Twisted Cow for a monthly dance night, every *second* Wednesday of each month. Please join us for a swing dance lesson and DJ'd social in this distillery's fantastic East Northport space. The floors are gorgeous, wood, and spacious, the cocktails are delicious, and your favorite LISS dancers will be there in full force!
We'll be teaching a drop-in lesson, then DJ'ing music for a few hours while hanging out with the great people at the Twisted Cow. No dance partner necessary and all dance levels are welcome, including (and especially) beginners.
7:30pm: 30-45 minute drop-in lesson with LISS instructors
$10 cash only at the door!

An Evening of Swing with Chris and Courtney @ George's
344 New York Avenue, Huntington, NY, USWednesday night swing dancing and music is BACK in Huntington Village! Doors open at 7 PM, Beginner lesson at 7:30 PM every 1st and 3rd Wednesday. Friends of LISS, Chris & Courtney Thaler will be spinning the tunes between sets and teaching the moves now at George's (previously Industry). This delightful duo will kick the night off with a drop-in lesson and then open the floor for dancing and trying out your new skills! Most nights will also have live music!
No partner or prior experience needed. If you've been wanting to learn this fun style of dancing, or just looking for something new to try, this is the night to start!
While this is not a LISS-organized event, Chris and Courtney are lovely humans and dancers who have built this night into a monthly gig, which has become one of our favorite social dance events on Long Island. We will be there in full force to dance the night away to continue to support it!
