Here is a new group for adults interested in learning to play guitar, having fun, and meeting new people.
This is a FREE group for beginners.
Check out this video and please share it with your friends if you know someone locally who is interested in learning to play guitar.
Meetups will include a beginner song lesson (Mostly from You Tube or other social media) and other activities.
As much as possible we would like to learn songs the group is interested in learning, so message me with any song request.
Interested members can also take turns leading the group an teaching them songs and tips they have learned.
This is a brand new group, so if you have any tips or ideas to make this group better please message them to me.

Thursday Evening Pop-Up Jam & Open Mic - Fun Songs You Already Know!

SJ Jam Sessions Pop Up Jam **
This is a kind of "pop-up" mini jam to test engagement and interest of these jams in advance of it becoming a recurring theme, even with different days. This is a jam and not lessons. It's designed to just come out and play what you know/have played, with others. No learning curve. No pressure. All fun.
There is a big pool of songs to play with. These are all songs we already know, fairly easy, and have been playing for some time. Most of them have been in the Freewheel jams, so it's a good opportunity to play them in a no pressure environment. You don't have to know all of them, or even any of them, to come out and play with us. Play as many of them, or as few of them as you want with us. Come out drummers, bass, singers, guitars, horns, keys. Whatever you got, bring it out, have fun and play with us. Doesn't matter what level you are, as long as you want to fun with the group. Or just come hang out if you are not ready to play.
