Trip Report: Mallorca, Spain and Hut-to-Hut Trekking in the Serra Tramuntana

Details
Mallorca is a beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea with a long history, interesting culture, and great climate.
The Serra de Tramuntana is a mountain range that forms a spine across the length of the island. The GR221, one of Spain's long-range hiking routes takes a highline through these beautiful mountains and trekkers are served by a series of huts (refugi's) and scenic villages along its length. The Tramuntanas are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their significance as a cultural landscape. Kevin Holsapple will share photographs and experiences from his multi-day trek.
Learn about what it is like to trek hut-to-hut and what it's like in beautiful Mallorca. Should our group organize a future trip there?
Meet and chat with other group members beginning at 6pm. Presentation will begin at 6:15. Members who are interested may want to catch a bite and/or beer afterward.
