A Crash Course in Cassandra and Python

Details

For this meetup we are excited to be joined by Jon Haddad is an Apahce Cassandra Evangelist.

What You'll Learn At This Meetup:

We’ll be looking at Cassandra from the perspective of a Python programmer. We’ll start with an introduction to the native driver. We’ll build on the native driver knowledge with a discussion around cqlengine. Cqlengine is a Python object mapper built on top of the native driver, abstracting away the need to write CQL queries by hand. This talk assumes basic Cassandra data modeling knowledge using CQL.
