What To Expect

Beginner Track
Carbon Five developer Arbind Thakur has created a self-paced tutorial, The Essence of CoffeeScript (http://coffeescript.carbonfive.com/). We'll have people floating around to help out should you get stuck.

Advanced Track
We'd like to foster an environment for discussion and collaboration. To facilitate this we'll be using a BarCamp (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BarCamp) / OpenSpace (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Space_Technology) format. Bring your ideas, discussion topics, problems, projects, and we'll OpenSpace them.

Agenda:
Introductions at 6:30
OpenSpace time...

RSVP

We have limited space. You're required to RSVP.

Leave a comment about what you're working on, any CoffeeScript projects you may be bringing with you, etc. so others can see what you're up to.

Parking

I usually park on Wilshire and walk.

ParkMe (http://www.parkme.com/map/?lat=34.019087&lng=-118.49774500000001&zoom=16) has more parking information.

IRC

We have an IRC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2rGTXHvPCQ) channel. "It's how hackers talk when they don't want to be overheard"

IRC: #coffeescriptla on Freenode (http://webchat.freenode.net/)
