Los Angeles Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses Meetup

This group is open to anyone who's a former Jehovah's Witness. So many of us are shunned by our families and friends for the most ridiculous, hypocritical reasons. A lot of us hold a lot of anger and sadness that few others would understand. This will be a group that can meet up with one another to share stories, support each other and hopefully create new families. 

We recently started charging $2/month for dues with the two-week trial period beginning
September 10th, 2026 for existing members to decide if they want to pay to have access
to events, or not. New members will have two weeks from the time they join to decide if
they want to pay dues or not. The dues are to help cover the cost of MeetUp's platform
fees it charges organizers depending upon how many members we have.

We currently have over 600 members! We struggled a lot over this decision. If $2/month is
too much for you to be able to pay, please message me (Donna Earl) personally so we can
figure something out.
