SNF Flex: The Pack vs. the whiners

Mom's Bar

ahhh, what a nice weekend of zero stress. the bye week always takes me down a level being that during the season i get pretty high strung with the highs and lows of the packers. don’t worry, miller lite and jamo make it better. but the bye week is a nice break where i just sit back and laugh at the other NFC north teams. looking at you bears. better start packing your bags trubisky. so since we played the panthers so many cocktails ago, my memory is a little fuzzy. i do remember us keeping mccaffry to just over 100 yards which i knew would be key to winning the game. (he normally rips off at least 150) with authority the packers kept the wraps on the panthers offense which only scored 16 points in what was a wintery wonderland of a setting, the ground game came back with a vengence, rodgers threw over 60 yards, and i got drunk and referenced my penis at halftime as per the ushe. (<- no one knows how to spell that. i looked it up.) good times. this week the packers head just 350 short miles away from our home and face the 9-1 niners. now about those niners, are they really that good? let’s take a looksie at the teams they’ve beat: bucs (garbage), bengals (garbage), steelers (rapists), browns (garbage), rams (struggling), skins (garbage), panthers (meh), cards twice (double garbage). not a very impressive resume. to note, those 8 teams have a total of 27 wins with 16 of those coming from 3 of teams. that means the other 5 teams have only 11 wins between the lot of them. (garbage) garappolo has had a pretty good season. i’ll give him that. but it’s pretty easy to put up points against shitty teams. (see: patriots schedule) the niners defense is what has me worried. bosa v. bahktiari is going to be a match to watch. the secondary is also pretty solid but i hope the refs keep that yellow flag handy with the sherman v. adams matchup. sherman’s entire career has been based on PI. (and complaining) this should be a pretty crazy game. luckily the seahawks game took a toll on them and they barely beat the cards last week with a late 19-point rally. (26-36) batter up bitches. my prediction: this will be close. maybe even a nail biter. as good as the seahawks/niners game? maybe. do the packers have the edge coming off a bye? yes. happy to watch sherman get owned by adams? def. packers 28 – niners 24. packers D scores 6. where to watch: west los angeles – mom’s bar @ 11238 santa monica blvd. los angeles 90025 (HOME OF THE L.A.
