HBase browser in HUE by Abraham Elmahrek of Cloudera

Details
Abstract:
Hue provides a new way to visualize HBase data with HBase Browser. Given HBase's structure, it can be difficult explore, understand, and search for data. Hue's new smart view enables intelligent browsing of data in Bbase. It also makes adding, removing, and mutating cells easier. The smart search allows users to zero-in on their data trivially. Users can limit the number of rows retrieved and what column families to show. All this and more will be discussed and demonstrated in this talk.
Abraham Elmahrek is a software engineer on the platform team at Cloudera. He primarily focuses on the Hue project, the Hadoop User Experience, but also contributes to the Sqoop project.
