Ravens Cry Groves next public rite.

Join Raven's Cry Grove as as we celebrate the reunion of Demeter and Korē! We draw upon the wisdom of many lands and many cultures -- for our Spring feast we will work with Hellenic (Greek) tradition.

WHEN: Saturday, March 19th, 2011, 5:00pm-9:00pm. Ritual begins at 5:30pm, but please feel free to arrive as early as 5:00pm.

WHERE: The Cameron Center in Thousand Oaks. (See below for directions and map.)

--A donation of $10 is requested to help cover the cost of providing excellent public rituals and renting beautiful, private locations to hold them! If you are unable to donate, please don’t let that keep you from attending. Your presence is appreciated as well!

--After ritual we will enjoy a potluck and fellowship until 9:00pm. The Cameron Center has a full kitchen! Please support the Earth Mother by bringing your own reuse-able plate, mug, and utensils.

--Please feel free to bring personal offerings for the Ancestors, Nature Spirits, and Shining Ones. It does not need to be biodegradable, but should be non-toxic if buried or put into water.

--As the Earth celebrates the return of her verdant attire, we encourage you to dress in festive colors and to bring flowers to add to the merriment!

--We will be collecting nonperishable food items (canned or dry goods) for the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank. Let us share the blessings of this holy feast with those in need.

--Please do not bring pets. (Service animals allowed.) For more ground rules and answers to frequently asked questions visit: "About Us : Practice" and "For our Guests"

DIRECTIONS: Take the 101 Fwy to Thousand Oaks and exit Lynn Road. From the exit ramp turn South onto Lynn Road. At the first light take a left onto Greenmeadow Drive. Follow Greenmeadow for a few blocks to where it dead ends. Turn into the long driveway to your left and follow it to the parking lot of the Cameron Center. Parking is free!
