We’re starting July’s meeting with a networking game with prizes to the winners. The first ones to come forward with BINGO win a prize… until we run out of them. We will award a grand prize of $50 to the first person that first completes the WHOLE card. Really EVERYBODY will win by making new connections and having fun doing it!

Our own Andy Sukhiani does things backwards.

Almost EVERYBODY starts to invest in real estate with single family homes first; not Andy. He decided to begin his investing career investing in student housing; one of the most challenging niches. AND THEN he started flipping houses. Huh! Hello!!!

You flip houses FIRST and then move to buy-and-hold. Right? Well Andy didn’t get that memo. Not only did he screw that up; he specializes in flipping luxury houses, not regular run-of-the-mill ordinary houses. What is with this guy?

Well Andy’s originally from Canada. No, that's not why he did things differently. He’s in his mid-30s, single, good-looking, studied Math and Business at the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and has a great laugh! And he’s an LAREIA annual member.

Andy talks slowly in conversation and thinks first about what he’s going to say. OK, that’s a good thing.

That’s a good thing because I’ve seen a rough draft of his presentation and he will cover IMPORTANT real estate investing concepts THAT FEW IF ANY BEGINNING OR ADVANCED real estate investors EVER look at. One of the exceptions is LAREIA’s June speaker Rick Solis (you really should have attended THAT PRESENTATION!).

I appreciate that Andy will teach ideas that are beneficial to both beginners and advanced real estate investors; things we should do BEFORE investing in real estate to save us money or prevent us from making bad decisions.
