Los Angeles Vegan Events will meet up for festivals, pop-ups, movies, hikes, potlucks, restaurant outings, drinks, and other events. Please don't hesitate to join us, if you'd like to meet other kindred spirits. Please read the Policies below, before you apply for membership.

Policies of this meetup group:

1) Group photos: Please check with individual members before you photograph them. Take pics of the food! Let's show the world how delicious vegan food looks!! Whenever you get a chance, please "tag" yourself in event photos. It really helps us get to know one another!

2) You must be considerate of others in the group.

3) If you personally solicit attendees for products/services or to join groups/organizations you will be removed from the group.

5) If you RSVP for a restaurant meetup please show up. If you have a change of plans, please change your RSVP at least a day in advance. Repeat no-shows may be removed from the group.

If you plan an event and wish to invite this group, please don't hesitate. We love variety! The Meetup website is fairly intuitive and user-friendly. You can easily submit all the event details, and an organizer will approve all appropriate events: VEGAN FOOD ONLY is just about the only restriction on our events. All ages have always been welcome to attend our events.

Vegan Spirituality Potluck & Writing Advocacy with Author Brittany Michelson

Join our Los Angeles Vegan Spirituality Group for an outdoor vegan potluck and discussion with author Brittany Michelson, who will share the power and importance of writing as a form of activism, along with key writing/publishing tips. We're excited to hear an excerpt or two from her book, "Voices for Animal Liberation: Inspirational Accounts by Animal Rights Activists." Signed copies will be available for purchase.

For the potluck, bring a vegan (plant-based raw and cooked foods, no animal products of any kind) potluck dish to share, your own plate/cup/utensils, and an open heart. We will have extra plates and utensils on hand. Be mindful to bring a dish versus a snack or drink so we have plenty of food for everyone. Masks are optional. Bundle up to keep warm outside!
