END ALL ANIMAL OPPRESSION!
We're taking to the streets and demanding change! Use your voice to make a difference. Your presence will be a light of inspiration. Be part of history as it happens. Help us make that history!
We will meet at the Grand Park in downtown LA in front of City Hall
Announcements for the day of, including route and parking:
This year's march will be significantly different from previous years and other similar marches. First off, we are walking down streets officially closed off by LAPD 1st Amendment Special Events Department in downtown LA to get major exposure. We will be loud and very visible. Energetic live music while marching:
We will set off colored smoke flares to appear more vibrant and enegetic and walk back to the park. Once there, we will have a mini-VegFest, with vegan comfort food trucks, a number of vegan merchandise vendors, live pet adoption, live music on stage and live visual art:
A number of speeches by leading figures in the Animal Rights movement. Major media coverage and celebrities.
The Official Animal Rights March (TOARM) is an annual vegan march founded by the animal rights organization Surge in 2016.
The march began in London in 2016 with 2,500 attendees and by 2018 TOARM succeeded in a global attendance of 28,000 vegans marching in 25 cities across the world, demanding an end to all animal oppression. In 2019 we’re bringing The Official Animal Rights March back to Los Angeles to spread the message of animal liberation across the globe. TOARM will be organized in 40 cities this year.
In order to make this march succeed, we need your help. Invite your friends, tell every vegan you meet, this is the day where we unite, where we stand up, rise up and say no more, not in our name.
The future is vegan, but we must continue to speak out on behalf of the animals until the day that their suffering ends.
