Welcome, everyone! ๐ We are a diffused group of cultural learners, food adventurers, and urban explorers want to create a community by bringing together people from diverse cultures and backgrounds through fun, immersive, delicious, and interesting educational activities in the vibrant cultural enclaves in and around the 90001-90899 area codes (that is all the zip codes reserved for LA County).
We have food gatherings, media showings, concerts, and health and wellness events featuring a different part of the world.
DONATION: You can donate through our website or directly to the organizers at the events.
Rules of Conduct:
You are allowed to join with your preferred name and whatever photo you choose. HOWEVER the organizers may request you change either name or photo at their discretion. Names that are products, promotional, advertisements..etc.. are red flags that will be requested to change or be removed.
If you are using a photo that is not your face, a current face photo may be requested. Fake name and fake photo will be requested to change to a real photo and a real name or face removal. If you need to maintain privacy of both then contact the organizers and just make the request.
*** We would like our meetups to be comfortable and safe for everyone so that they can enjoy and participate in all the activities.
- Please be respectful to all other members and their privacy!! Do Not randomly contact members you haven't met or haven't had the OK to contact.ย Get to know people at events with proper respect and boundaries. We recommend that you DO NOT ask unwelcome intrusive personal questions; make unwelcome or inappropriate comments or behave inappropriately.
- Always let the organizer know if you cannot make an event. You can take yourself off the RSVP so other people can take your spot or alert the organizer if you have a last minute emergency and are unable to attend.
- Please do not solicit money from other members or try to sell anything to anyone.
- We also discourage people from engaging in argumentative divisive political discussions during the events/activities.
If you are reported or observed doing any of the above you may be removed from the group.
