Take home your creations. $100 IMPRESSIVE HOLIDAY BUFFET DESSERTS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2013 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Chef Derrick Beverly, CEC, ACE, CDM Now it’s time for those holiday gatherings and parties, no need to stress over the dessert table, Chef will teach you how to fill out that dessert table with some quick and easy tasty creations and edible centerpieces that will be the talk of the party. Take home your creations. $125 GINGERBREAD DECORATING FOR KIDS AGES 3-7 SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2013 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Chef Angela Wilson, CEPC, CFSE Make a Christmas treat! Gingerbread decorating class for kids ages 3-7. Children can decorate their own gingerbread people and house for them to live in. Cookies and milk will be provided. Take home your decorated items. $75 ALL Children must be accompanied by an adult. Price is per child. KIDS GINGERBREAD DECORATING - AGES 8-13 SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2013 - 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM Chef Angela Wilson, CEPC, CFSE Kids ages 8 – 13 learn how to put together a gingerbread house to take home to decorate with the family, as well as decorating a house of their own in class with Chef Angela. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Take home your creations. $75 ALL children must be accompanied by an adult. Price is per child.

What we're about

The Louisiana Culinary Institute (LCI) is the largest culinary school in the South and we are located in Baton Rouge. Our new 40,000 sq ft facility has state-of-the-art equipment and top notch professional Chef Instructors. Although we are a private school we will be open to the public for our weekly Cooking/Leisure Classes.

This group is all about people who are interested in anything culinary and want to learn about different techniques, styles, flavors, and much more! You will receive an apron, cooking booklet with recipes, LCI measurement card, each class is hands-on learning, and you'll be able to bring home your delectable creations. I highly recommend this group for anyone that has a passion for food or wants to learn a few new things in the kitchen. We do sell gift certificates year round. I look forward to meeting everyone and remember to keep cooking!
