Details
This is the second of three one-on-one classes (two sessions each) being offered - one student per class. This class includes two sessions: 10/23/18 and 10/31/18.
Description: The basic Computer Numerical Control (CNC) milling class is an introduction to machining wood on a CNC. Students will mill two projects while working on CNC safety and proficiency using the Sherline Mini-Mill. The basic class is a prerequisite for the advanced class on the Loveland CreatorSpace CNC Router. CreatorSpace members must complete both basic and advanced classes to operate the CNC Router.

This initial class is intended for those who want to contribute to the maintenance of the Sherline Mini Mill and the LCS CNC router plus grow member knowledge. This class may be adjusted to different skill levels. However, attendees need to demonstrate safety and proficiency to pass the class. Passing the basic class is a prerequisite for the Advanced CNC Router class.
