Under the Milky Way - A Photo Field Trip

This field trip is dependent on the weather.
Join Foto Dono for the last hurrah of the Milky Way Season. The MeetUp will be at a reasonably dark spot in Ona, FL, just a bit South of Solomon's Castle. It's next to a cemetery by the Baptist Church. Yep, that's right, a cemetery. It's October; where else would you want to meet in the dark? An excellent spot for stargazing and planet spotting. If you're going to bring a friend, get a pair of binoculars with a ten power magnification.
Weather: This event is dependent on the weather. Clouds and rain reduce the visibility of the night sky. I'll make a final decision to shoot or not shoot about 24 hours before I head out.
Timeline for Saturday night:

7:39 PM Astronomical Twilight
8:06 PM Galactic Center is visible - Elevation 14.7°
9:34 PM Galactic Center sets
Dono should be there by 7:00 PM.
GEAR: The recommended camera equipment should either be a D-SLR or Mirrorless system. Bring your widest angle lens with a 2.8 f/stop or faster. You'll need a very sturdy tripod and a remote switch for your camera. Keep in mind this depends on the weather. So come prepared; bring a flashlight and bug spray!
There is no FEE for the event. However, tips are appreciated.

Driving Directions: It's about 47 minutes East of Lakewood Ranch.
From SR 64 - Take SR 64 East towards Zolfo Springs. Turn right on CR 665. When you get to the fork on the road, a mile or two past Solomon's Castle, keep to the left to stay on CR 665. Cemetery Road is just past the Baptist Church.
FROM SR 70 - You can also take SR 70 towards Arcadia. Turn left onto Pine Level Road. When you come to a fork in the road, make a right onto CR 665. Cemetery Road is just past the Baptist church.
