Intro to Web Applications - Learn Node JS w/ Express

Are you just learning to code, have an interest in learning more about JavaScript, or been curious about this thing called NodeJS?

In this meetup we will be introducing a simple lightweight framework called Express used for building small to large scale web applications, using our favorite server side language NodeJS. We will be introducing the framework itself and walking through a small example to build a simple web app and doing the general Q&A format again similar to last time.

NodeJS is gaining major traction and demand as large companies such as PayPal and Walmart have recently migrated major back-end applications to Node. As always our main goal of the meetup is to teach and educate rather than just walk through a series of steps so we will allocate the first hour to walking through getting a very simple application built and then open it up to Q&A about any and all the things Node, Express or general dev related.

This will be an online video session with screenshare and we will be sharing materials after the session for those that attend.
