After an exceptional season of rainfall, the desert has transformed into something truly rare — a vast lake appearing where only sand is expected, a phenomenon that shows itself once every two to three years. Our journey kicks off with a relaxed off-roading experience, cruising through scenic terrain toward this hidden water body, where we can unwind, take in the views, and enjoy a refreshing swim in the middle of the desert. It’s all about slowing down, good vibes, and soaking in a moment that doesn’t come often.
From there, we continue the experience into the mountains, where flowing streams and small waterfalls are now alive thanks to the recent rains. This part of the trip brings a gentle sense of exploration — light hikes, easy trails, and plenty of spots to dip into cool, running water. The theme is simple: lakes, swimming, off-roading, and nature at its best, without rushing or overplanning. Just a laid-back weekend filled with fresh air, movement, and great company, making the most of a rare natural season before it fades away.

Did you know that Oman's mountains are famous for their rosewater? The rose season is back. Come and see a sea of pink flowers covering the fields while you are covered by the rose fragrance filling the air.

A nice and easy hike is a waiting for us to walk through the fields. Enjoy the amazing scenery and old villages settled on the cliffs, seeing the Omani mountain people living and harvesting their fields.

Trip Plan:

Day 1 - Saturday
@7.00am to meet at meeting point to be shared in a private whatsapp group.

We are heading to jabal akdar for the roses and the beautiful mountain scenery. We will do a 2.5hs hike and we can add some adventure to it. The hike will pass through villages, farms, springs, etc

After hike we will have a nice dinner.

Day 2 - Sunday

Wake up for breakfast after a nice sleep on top of the village and the farms. We will leave our hotel and start walking to the Rose fields to see the rose harvest and the production of rosewater.

After that we will head to another hidden jewel in the area and enjoy another lovely hike in abounded villages.

Trip fee: 875 AED for 4*Hotel with amazing view on shared basis. BF at hotel, tours and hikes, dinner on Saturday and Lunch on Sunday (or maybe iftar).

05:00 AM – Departure from Muscat

07:30 AM – Off-Road Entry
We leave the asphalt behind and enter rugged terrain shaped by flash floods and erosion over thousands of years.
09:00 AM – Canyon Entry & Safety Setup
Harnesses on. Helmets secured. Final briefing.

Technical abseiling down multiple canyon drops

Let's take our adventures to the Arabian sea

The weather is now perfect for a boat trip, swimming in the sea and just having a chilled and fun day out from the city!

We need to be in at small town isolated between the mountain in OMAN by 2pm to hop on the boat where we will spend the rest of the day swimming, snorkeling, and just chilling. our boat will be docking at the beach totally isolated from any access.

At sunset, we will dock our boat on the beach and set up our camp. get your camping gear (keeping it as light as possible). tonight, we will spend having dinner at the beach and falling asleep to the sounds of the waves and sparkling stars above us!

Pack your beach clothes, and let's get back through adventures roads through mountains and valleys.
