MAG Exploration - Kyrgyzstan

Dubai International Airport

Kyrgyzstan is a nation defined by its natural beauty and has been described as a "surreal Switzerland". Joyously unspoilt mountainscapes, stark craggy ridges and rolling jailoos (summer pastures) are brought to life by semi-nomadic, yurt-dwelling shepherds. MAG is exploring this country by car and self driving. Don't worry, just hop on and be a passenger and enjoy the beauty the country has to offer. We will do offroad, small hikes and inhale beautiful greenery while mountain caps will still be covered by snow. Trip programme **NOTE** Date change due to flight schedule change of airline. Day 1 We will arrive early morning in Bishkek, pick-up the cars and drive to Issyk-Kul Lake where we will stay overnight in a yurt camp, right on the shores of the lake. Day 2 After breakfast we will head to Karakol but not without stopping at a few gorges and waterfalls. We will stay in Karakol and explore the city in the evening. Day 3 After breakfast, we are going for a few more hikes through gorges and waterfalls, or even ride a horse to make our lives easier. Lunch will be served in a traditional yurt in the middle of the gorge. We will spend another evening in Karakol. Day 4 Today we drive a long time to reach Semyonov and Grigoriev gorges, and will have picnic lunch at the shores of an ice-cold mountain lake. We will be heading back to Bishkek in the evening. Day 5 After breakfast we will visit Ala-Archa gorge which is not far from Bishkek where we will do a small hike and have our last picnic lunch before heading to the airport for the 18:00 flight back home to Dubai. Bosnia - Wartorn Balkan Beauty

Dubai International Airport Terminal 2

Beautiful Bosnia & Hercegovina is most intriguing for its East-meets-West atmosphere born of blended Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian histories. Many people remember the country with the heartbreaking civil war of the 1990s. The scars from that time are all too visible. Bosnia has an underestimated beauty and hospitality, good food and a lot of things to learn and see. On our trip in June, we will take you to Sarajevo, Mostar and Srebrenica. You will discover the history of the siege, the destroyed Mostar Bridge and Srebrenica. But we also will hike the mountains of Sarajevo's backyard, Kravice Waterfalls and so much more.... First day We will arrive in Sarajevo around noon. On our way to the hotel, we will stop at the Tunnel Museum, which was used during the Siege as the only way to smuggle stuff into Sarajevo. We will end with a little City Tour through the historic part of Sarajevo. Second Day It will be a long day but so worth it as you will see springs, old towns and beautiful waterfalls. And we will feed you well We will head to Mostar, to visit the famous bridge and town. On our way we will stop at a variety of spots to see nature and history. After Mostar we will enjoy the beauty of Kravice Waterfalls. Then we will head back to our hotel. Third day We will get up and start our trip by driving through the olympic mountains after our breakfast. We reach our starting point after a short drive. While hiking up, you can enjoy the stunning views of the mountains with the ultimate peak of Bjelasnica mountain During our hike we will stop for some local food and coffee. Fourth day Today we will drive to the Genocide memorial site of Srebrenica. We will be driving through the beautiful scenery of Eastern Bosnia while we will learn a lot about the history of Bosnia during the war. Srebrenica was the largest concentration camp in the world during the 90s. We will participate a guided tour by a local guide who is a survivor of those events. Fifth day The morning is all yours for shopping, following the red roses of Sarajevo, exploring Sarajevo or just mingle with the locals over a cup of Bosnian coffee and just enjoy the atmosphere of this stunning town.
