June Meet: STEM-SAT1 Space Launch and Radio Astronomy Projects - Dr. W. McCain

Speaker: Dr. Wayne McCain, Athens State University, Athens, AL.

Dr. McCain is a professor with extensive aerospace expertise, and is active in promoting the Society of Amateur Radio Astronomers (SARA). He is also the author of the book "Eight Days To Mars", aimed to create enthusiasm for space and astronomy in students and the young at heart.

Wayne will share with us the exciting progress on the STEM-SAT1 satellite that is scheduled for launch next year, and on radio astronomy projects at Athens State.
