Moment 1 - Mate Workshop 馃
In the Mate workshop, we cover everything about the history and Indigenous peoples involved in mate production; the entire yerba mate production process, from the plant to the infusion; the environmental aspects of the region and its "dark sides"; as well as the socio-cultural significance of "getting together to drink mate" in Argentina.
Throughout the talk, we engage all the senses: each participant prepares and tastes different types of mates and yerbas, with essential tips for foreigners visiting Argentina and for locals who want to impress their friends or family with unique techniques, concrete facts, and a few very innovative and special surprises.
