This week we go East so you might want to pack a few carrots in case of hostile natives! Starting from the excellent BikeStop shop and cafe in Stevenage we head North and East to end up in Hatfield Broadoak where we hope for a friendly reception, excellent food, a roaring log fire and fine beers at The Cock Inn (http://www.thecockinn-hatfieldbroadoak.co.uk). I have studiously avoided any cheap innuendo or crass jokes against all expectations. We have a route file for you here: https://www.myrouteapp.com/en/social/route/2798404?mode=share As always please note this ride is for experienced riders and the pace will be sensibly progressive. It is likely to involve some overtaking! We ask all participants to observe speed limits with particular attention to 30's and 40's, remember you are ambassadors for our hobby. Fueled and ready to roll at the start point by 10.30 please.
A weekly Wednesday morning ride, generally from a meeting point somewhere on the Northern sector of the M25 to a country pub for some lunch. Usually a circa 2 hour ride followed by lunch and make our own way home. Details posted a week or so before.
A pleasant ride on generally quiet country roads in Essex, Herts., Bucks. and sometimes into Oxfordshire, varying week by week. We usually have a light lunch in one of England's splendid Pubs. A ride, good food, a bit of banter - what more can you ask for? Detail TBA Here Future rides: It could develop into an overnight stop somewhere enabling us to roam a bit further. Any suggestions, thoughts or ideas? I'm North London/Essex area. Bob For great chat and other bike related topics don't forget to visit the forum at MCForum (http://www.mcforum.co.uk/)
