What we're about

Welcome to MC Forum

We are a friendly group of motorcycle enthusiasts from all walks of life. We enjoy riding and talking about motorcycles both big and small, and regularly hold ride outs. We promote rides and events for every type of motorcycle.

This group is FREE to join (for nice and friendly people :)

It is not the policy of this Meetup group to charge for rides, however, some rides may require payment by some ride organisers for charity purposes or for other services provided. It is up to the individual member to decide whether they are willing to pay.

Any payments to organisers, ride leaders, members, or third parties whether for charity purposes, other services, or goods provided are private and personal transactions between the payee and the recipient. MCForum is not responsible for refunding monies for any reason. Any monies paid by members is at their own risk and any claim for reimbursement for any reason must be to the actual recipient of their money solely.

Ride Legal

Summer Evening Rideout to Old Kiora Newport

Needs a location

Summer evening ride to meet Walden Bikers at Old Kiora Motorbike Museum. This group of Bikers is a very popular meetup event with lots to see. Thanks to Steve in advance for his hospitality in opening his home and private collection to many thousands of bikers over the years. I believe they have some fast food vans selling fish and chips etc in case you have to rush to the start point without dinner. Depart - Approx 19.00 Return - Approx 21.00 125cc friendly - Yes, you must be able ride up to speed limits on faster A roads - that means the national speed limit of 60mph on country roads. However, roads on this route are quiet and traffic free at most times making this a fairly stress-free nice ride. Ride leader - Captn Route: Very decent country ride through the Rodings, up to Dunmow then twisty roads to Thaxted before entering Newport. Essentials to Bring - A ready smile, good sense of humour and a determination to have a good evening chatting to biking buddies. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Everyone is responsible for their own safety, the safety of others and to ensure that their bike is roadworthy. Speed limits will be observed specially 30 and 40 mph limits.

Weekly Wednesday ride out with Bob to The Super Sausage, Towcester, NN12 7QD

*This ride was canceled on 19/06/2019 due to bad weather*. If you are not going to tell Bob!!! I'm going to tell you, This week we aren't going to a pub (Hurrah...), once/year, It's time again to have our non-Bob's style eating place, ride out!😜 (no booking no RSVP limitation on this one). We are leaving from McDonald's The Bell, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 9SE . The destination is the Super Sausage Cafe on the A5 between Towcester and Milton Keynes. We enjoyed this ride and expecting more on this time of year.🤞 I'm up to do this again, spontaneously (no route file) but within our routine time frame (Wed's ride outs) around 2 hours of riding. Like always; Expecting to meet up before 10:00 to be ready for 10:30, so, Please make sure your Motorcycle has a full tank of petrol. Thx Corner-Man or Buddy?!! Will be considered as per number of Fellow-riders. You are responsible for your own safety so ensure you and your bike are road worthy and all legalities are observed. For those heading back towards London it's a straightforward ride back down the A5 till you hit the M1/M25 Super Sausage Cafe website: http://www.supersausagecafe.co.uk/ This ride is not suitable for scooters & or motorcycles less than 250 cc. For any newcomers please watch the video, the Corner-man System (without wing-men) which explains the way we manage the ride to keep people together (and mostly succeed!!) assuming a larger group - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hak3egkcRDo&feature=youtu.be) See You Cyrus 👊🏍👍
