This class offers the fundamentals of a Mindfulness Practice based upon the foundation of Vipassana Meditation. This practice teaches how one might escape from the myriad of daily thoughts that create stress, anxiety, self-doubt, lack of sleep, and worry in your lives.....how to respond to your thoughts and feelings rather than react in ways that are counter-productive to your health and well-being. First class is an INTRODUCTORY class. If you choose to continue, you may attend 5 additional weekly meetings as you take steps towards a new journey on your life’s path.
Chairs are provided. You may bring a chair pillow or you may sit on floor with a pillow. Feel free to take notes.. The cost for each of the Group Classes is by donation.
