Topic

Django is arguably the most popular Python web application framework. There are a number of groups and conferences around the world dedicated to it...not to mention a ton of awesome production applications using it.

The aim of this meet up is to introduce the community to the framework and provide a guide of how to get started and what to know.

Format

Since we have a mix of people who are completely new to Django as well as some who have used it in the past attending, we'll be trying this format.

1. Introduction to Django (20 - 30 minutes)

2. Lightening Talks and Open Discussion (20 - 30 minutes)

If you're interested in demoing or talking about your experience with Django, all you need to do is show up. Lightening talks should be limited to about 5 minutes or less.
