Join us for an exciting tech talk about game development for the Windows 10 platform. Come build your Unity skills and learn about building games for a billion devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile, Xbox and even HoloLens! We are pleased to welcome published game developer Adina Shanholtz from the Microsoft NYC Evangelism team for this fun session.

Game Development with Unity for the Windows 10 Platform

Microsoft game development is not just for Xbox! More and more studios use tools like Unity to make Windows 10 games that run cross platform on mobile, tablets, and computers. Developing games for the Windows 10 platform utilizes the same software development skills you already have! We'll discuss the secrets behind the technology that goes into these games, best methods and good development practices, and the reasons developers can't wait to get started!

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Adina Shanholtz – Technical Evangelist, Microsoft

Adina Shanholtz (aka the Fey Technologist) is a Technical Evangelist for Microsoft. She graduated from Oberlin College class of '15 with a double major in Computer Science and East Asian Studies. She has a passion for Game Development, Virtual/Mixed Reality, Wearable Technology, and empowering others through programming. In her spare time Adina likes to knit, practice her Japanese, and perform hoop and poi circus arts.
