Ad-hoc data collection using PowerShell - Rick Bielawski
PowerShell is just so powerful that almost any difficult task can be made easier by making use of it. There are some key bits of functionality that every database professional should know about and I’ll describe 3 or 4 key functions that cut weeks from our analysis and development schedule on a GDPR Compliance project.
Bio: Rick has 40 years experience as a systems, applications and database architect having designed major systems for such institutions as NASDAQ, Bank of America, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ecolab and Emperex. He holds multiple certifications including MCITP and MCSE in Business Intelligence and Data Platform. Rick currently designs database systems for custom software applications and likes speaking at local user groups and SQL Saturday events.
Length: 60 minutes
My Precious: Building an AI Vision PowerApp - Joshuha Owen
Do you want to learn how you can quickly build an application that can do object recognition? This quick talk will walk through the pieces involved to setup a Microsoft Cognitive Services Custom Vision model and tying that together with a PowerApp to upload and predict if objects are in your pictures. In this demo we'll show you how to train it to recognize The One Ring but with these tools you should be able to do something similar with just a couple of hours worth of effort.
