About us
The Minnesota Ski Hawks is a non-profit Sports and Social Club. We sponsor events, trips and meet-up nights throughout the year. We’re based in the Twin Cities and currently have approximately 150 members made up of both singles and couples ranging in age from the mid-20’s all the way to the 70's..
The purpose of Minnesota Ski Hawks Meet Up Group is to have fun and to get to know prospective club members. We keep our paid club members of informed on upcoming trips, meetups and other events. While many events are open to non-members, our ski trips are for members of Ski Hawks and Minnesota Ski Council affiliated ski clubs only. Ski Hawk members are also eligible for discounts from our sponsors.

Bike the Cannon Valley Trail With the SKIHAWKS!
Cannon Valley Trail, Cannon Falls, MN, USMeet at 10:30am in the parking lot off Colville Mem Highway, behind Cannon River Winery and Kitchen and lunch afterwards.
Join Tony and the Group for a pleasant 20-mile bike ride! Lunch at Cannon River Winery and Kitchen, 421 Mill St West, open 12 to 5pm. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED
The Cannon Valley Trail is a paved rail trail that follows the Cannon River in southeast Minnesota. The trail follows an abandoned Chicago Great Western Railway corridor for 20 miles between Cannon Falls, Minnesota and Red Wing, Minnesota, We will only be going as far as Welch Village before turning back to Cannon Falls.

St. Croix River Canoeing/Kayaking - Winehaven Winery!

Non-Shuttle Option- In this trip option, you will need to provide your own shuttle by dropping a vehicle at the endpoint at the Osceola Landing and driving a second vehicle up to Taylors Falls at the MN Insterstate Park. At the end of your trip, you will pull your equipment on to the shore and it will be picked up.Shuttle Option - Park your car at Taylors Falls at the MN Interstate Park, then paddle down to Osceola Landing where a shuttle will pick you up and drive you back to your vehicle. Taylors Falls Canoe/Kayak RentalWe'll try to be on the river by 11:00 a.m. and do our best to stay together as a group. With approximately 2.5 hours of paddling time, we should wrap up around 1:30 p.m.
We'll then head to WineHaven Winery in Chisago afterwards. Located at 10020 Deer Garden Lane. Separate Meetup to be posted on this.

Enjoy a wonderful experience at Winehaven with your choice of wine, delicious food and even wine slushies! Winehaven is family owned and practices sustainable farming. They have a delicious array of flatbread pizzas and assorted cheese, fruit and nut trays that you can enjoy either outside on our terrace or inside the winery. Regardless of your choice of location, you will enjoy some of the best lake and vineyard views in Minnesota!
We should be able to be off the river to arrive at 2:00 p.m. We will get tables outside on the terrace.

The Fabulous Armadillos came out of their shell in 2006 and have since established a large and loyal following in Minnesota and beyond with their spot on recreations of songs from many genres of music from Country to Motown to Heavy Metal to 70's Soft Rock and play them just like you remember. Close your eyes and you are listening to all those vinyl records again or your AM/FM radio. The idea of the Fabulous Armadillos started with a diverse group of musicians who came together to perform "themed" concerts at the Pioneer Place On Fifth Theater in St. Cloud, MN. Themes like "One Hit Wonders", "Woodstock", "Motown", "Singer/Songwriters", "Stadium Rock" and more. They have now played 100's of themes at that theater as well as many regional venues in the Midwest and even in Mexico! Each show gaining them new fans and enjoying their brand of fun and entertaining, yet musically spot on performances. They have brought hundreds of special guests in for their theme shows comprising of local and national talent. COME OUT OF YOUR SHELL and see what everybody has been talking about!
